What to Expect...

Many people hesitate to visit a church unless they know what it will be like when they go. Perhaps we can help you know what to expect when you visit us.

Our Authority is the Bible Alone

Our source of authority is that which is found only in the inspired scriptures. Therefore, we seek to be governed in all that we do by God's Holy Bible. Since the scripture is enough for our every need (2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17). Our preaching and teaching contains only that which is commanded in the Bible.

Our People Are Christians

The division in the religious world today is far different from the unity enjoyed by the early Christians, before traditionalism and distinctive names divided them. Following the teachings of Christ and His apostles, individually we are known as Christians, collectively as a church of Christ

Our Worship Is Simple and Devout

Our services are conducted in a quiet, worship atmosphere. They are designed to draw the worshipers closer to God and to provide enduring Spiritual strength. Our worship consists only of those elements which the New Testament reveals as having been used at worship by the church in in the days of the Apostles. We sing and pray, partake of the Lords Supper, have the Word of God preached for our instruction, and give of our means for the spreading of the Gospel. We seek to maintain the attitude which Christ taught when He said, God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth. (John 4:24)

You Will Find a Friendly Spirit

We believe friendliness is a natural attitude among people who truly

love God. Our visitors, who always receive a warm welcome,

appreciate the courtesy and cordiality of these Christians.

We truly hope you will accept our invitation to visit with us,

and sincerely believe you will be benefited by coming.

Giving

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (NIV)

 Thoughts for the week
Laney Love Memories-102[15158].jpg

In a time when anything and everything is just a click away how do we take a step back and focus on the principles of our faith?

While exploring the question of “What would Jesus do?” in today’s media crazed world.

We also want to reflect on the changing state of family and community over the past few decades.
